MAKEUP

MAKEUP
  1. Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter: I’ve expressed my love for this all over Instagram and TikTok. I LOVE this so much for both myself and my clients. It’s the perfect glow product that gives you this glow from within look with minimal coverage. I use it for underneath my foundation, but you can also use it as your foundation if you like that look. For more glow, I add it to the high points on the face after foundation. Brides love this!

  2. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Hydrating Longwear Foundation: I wasn’t a fan of their Soft Matte foundation, but I do really like this one. It sets more demi-matte and satin, so there’s still some sheen. It’s not dewy, but a good in between of super matte and dewy. It’s pretty long lasting too!

  3. Nudestix Tinted Cover Foundation: If you like tinted moisturizers and very light coverage and need something hydrating, you’ll LOVE this. The formulation is beautiful and it truly looks like your skin. At best, you’ll get a light medium coverage, nothing more. Even though I don’t use this everyday (because I like a little more coverage) I reach for this on the days my skin is dry AF and patchy. It doesn’t accentuate any lines or dry areas, so this will stay in my bag.

  4. Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r Concealer: This is such a nice concealer for everyday. I love this even more than their foundation and is a staple in my personal bag. It blends really nicely, easy to use, and doesn’t cake but gives you medium to full coverage. I was surprised how I much I liked this stuff.

  5. Laura Mercier Flawless Fusion Ultra Longwear Concealer: This is a cult favorite for a reason. It’s truly an amazing product. It’s medium to full coverage, but it blends really well. It brightens and covers dark circles like magic. This is in my personal and professional kit. It’s a workhorse product and I’ve repurchased this concealer for my kit so many times!

  6. Becca Cosmetics Under Eye Brightening Corrector: AHH I can’t say enough good things about this.!! I wanna kiss this product, it’s so good. My under eyes got so much darker since becoming a mom, and when I tried this stuff for the first time I wanted to cry because it’s that good, haha. It’s so creamy and super brightening while actually correcting the darkness. I’ve emptied this and will be repurchasing. This baby will stay in my makeup bag forever.

  7. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting powder: Also a cult favorite for a reason. I’ve tried soo many transculescent powders, but always come back to this. It works great for all skin types. I have this for myself and my pro kit too. It’s an all around amazing product and has never failed me. This is a staple for sure!

  8. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Setting Powder: This pressed powder is unlike anything else. The finely milled and breathable formulation blurs textures and imperfections right before your eyes. Sometimes it takes time to love a product, I was in love right away with this. It really does give you an airbrush finish and takes away shine. I love it especially for setting underneath the eyes, as a finishing powder at the end of your makeup, and sooo good for touch ups. This is in my pro kit too!

9. Stila All Day Waterproof Eyeliner: This is my holy grail eyeliner. I’ve repurchased countless times over years and will always be my go-to. Have this for my personal use and pro kit. It’s great for most eyes. If you have super oily lids though, this might not be the best. And in that case, I’d recommend #10, below.

10. Fenty Beauty Flyliner: This was recently gifted to me and I’ve been using it for a couple of months now and I really do like it. I was surprised that I like it so much This eyeliner might be more suitable for oily lids and I love how this one and the Stila eyeliners dry down matte. I hate shiny black eyeliners but these dry down to a nice matte black.

11. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Definer: The only eyebrow product I need for the rest of my life, haha. Not joking. I use the color “soft brown” and it’s a perfect shade for me, not too cool or too warm. Loove this so much!

12. Laura Mercier Caviar Stick: I think this is a super underrated product and it really deserves a spotlight on this list. If you need something quick and easy with beautiful colors and formulation, this product is so so so good. It’s sooo easy to blend with both fingers and brushes. My love for these runs deep and I have a couple for my pro kit too. Highly recommend!

13. Sephora Pro Collection Concealer Brush in #57: I’ve gotten a few questions on what brushes I’d recommend. The whole line of Sephora Pro Collection brushes are GREAT! So if you’re in the market for brushes, you really can’t go wrong with these. In particular, the concealer brush is one my faves and have some for my kit too!

14. Benefit HOOLA Matte Bronzer: Another cult favorite! I think everyone can benefit from having one matte bronzer in their personal bag. Benefit really nailed the color and matte formula. There’s a reason why so many people love this. You can bronze and contour with this without looking orangey or too grey, yet it gives a nice warmth and color back to your face. They recently expanded their color range so anyone can try this out.

15. Nudies Matte Blush & Bronze in “Bondi Bae”: I recently got this and it’s a LOVE! I’m really impressed with the Nudestix collection in general, and this particular product is no exception. This creamy bronzer gives me the a beautiful bronzey glow without it being over the top, and my skin still looks like skin. It’s sooo beautiful and one of my all time faves.

16. Fenty Beauty Snap Shadow Eyeshadow Palette: The best thing about this palette is how COMPACT it is. The color payoff is amazing and this will last you a long time. They have lots of shade ranges and you can snap 2 of these together and have a total of 12 eyeshadow colors in the palm of your hand, literally!

SKINCARE

  1. Biossance 100% Squalane Oil: I’ve talked about this so many times over on my IG and I don’t have any plans to stop. I love this oil so much! We naturally produce Squalane in our bodies but as we age, the squalane production decreases. So products like this one helps us replenish and hydrate our skin. It’s one of the first oils I’ve invested for my skincare and I instantly saw results. It’s been a skin saver for the dry weather we get in California. I use it in the morning and night and I’ve had no problems with this. Love!

  2. The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5: I started incorporating Hyaluronic acid a couple of months ago and wondered why I didn’t do it sooner. For such an affordable price, this product gives your major hydration. Hyaluronic acid penetrates deeper into your skin so our skin can retain hydration and stay moisturized longer. Just keep in mind that when using Hyaluronic acid, you should be using a moisturizer to lock it in. (NOTE: The Ordinary line is excluded from the sale)

  3. Tatcha Gold Camellia Beauty Oil: I absolutely LOVE the whole Tatcha line! This one is pricey but for good reason. The oil is soothing and luxurious and every time I’ve used this on clients, they always ask me what I’m using. I see an instant improvement and that’s why I keep this in my pro kit for my Brides. It’s a beautiful product and if you want to take advantage during the sale, I would check it out!

  4. Vinoperfect Anti Dark Spot Serum: I love this so much that I wish I can repurchase as often as I can, but since it’s pricey, I stock up during sales like this. This is a lightweight serum that gives instant radiance and brightens the skin. I even notice my skin texture improves drastically within the week. The longer I use it, the better my skin!

  5. The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution: If you’re looking for a mild AHA, this ones great and sooo affordable! AHA is basically an acid that helps with exfoliating the skin. I recommend exfoliating your skin at least once a week to start to build tolerance and then work your way up. I love this one because it’s mild so it doesn’t irritate my skin but still leaves my skin smooth. Use AHA only at night! (NOTE: The Ordinary line is excluded from the sale)

  6. Biossance Squalane + Omega Repair Cream: Biossance is one of my all time favorite lines! I love this moisturizer to lock in all the serums and skincare products used before. It doesn’t feel too heavy for my normal/dry skin. Very nourishing and I feel like I’m at a spa when I’m working this into my face. I’ve emptied this, so I need another one!

  7. Sunday Riley C.E.O Vitamin C Brightening Serum: Out of all the skincare products I use, this would make top 3 - it’s that good and had changed my skin. It moisturizes while giving you a glow. Normally I don’t like scent but I LOVE the mild citrusy scent that leaves my skin feeling so damn fresh. I’ve noticed on the days I use this, my skin is brighter and people compliment on my skin. Coincidence? Not sure, but I’ll still take it! I wish I didn’t love it so much because of the price haha. Adding vitamin C to my skincare routine is one of the best things I’ve done. Even if you don’t get this one, I still highly recommend adding vitamin C to your skincare!

  8. The Ordinary Retinol 0.2% in Squalane: Adding Retinol to my night time routine is another skincare step that’s changed my skin for the better. I can’t go back to not using it because I notice a significant difference! Retinol is a derivative of Vitamin A used for anti aging and speeding up skin renewal. I’d recommend using Retinol at night and starting with a small amount like this one, and then working your way up. The Ordinary has one with 0.5% and 1% Retinol for when your skin’s ready. I LOVE this one for night and so affordable, its a no brainer.
