Today and everyday, you deserve all the praise of being a super human called MOM. But the truth is, sometimes we don’t feel that way. Often times we’re buried under all the to-dos and before we know it, we’ve pushed our own sense of self and happiness to the side.

This is all too familiar to me

10 affirmations for moms wellness mindset

Over the past year and a half, I started using affirmations as a way to change my thoughts and mindset. As a new mom, I found myself more sad than not, more lost than I’ve ever been, and yes…even with a beautiful daughter. That’s why I was so confused and beat myself up for the way I felt.

But since using affirmations, it’s helped me change perspective and not dwell in negative self talk as much as before. Even though some days are harder than others, I've noticed the shift in how I see myself and how quickly I catch my negative self talk. Most importantly, I’m able to switch gears faster and feel more empowered.

So I thought i’d put together a dose of inspiration and positivity for you.

My intention for this post is to uplift you in way possible.

HOW TO PRACTICE AFFIRMATIONS

You choose an affirmation that feels good to you, and you simply repeat it to yourself. If you’ve never practiced this before, you’re probably gonna think this is stupid and wonder what’s the point. But chances are, you’re reading this because you need some positivity right now. You repeat the affirmation to yourself and the key is to actually feel into the phrase. It doesn’t matter how many times you say it if you don’t feel that shift in your mind. But when you do feel that shift, that positivity will do some wonders for you. And the more you do it, the process becomes easier and more enjoyable!

So pick some affirmations today, you deserve it!
